Environmental sustainability is increasingly important in today’s world. Our renowned Made-in-Germany product quality has been our contribution to sustainability since 1968. We understand that the journey is the goal. Only through continuous development can we become more sustainable—each year a bit more. It is our duty to minimize our environmental impact as much as possible. We recognize that preserving the environment and becoming more sustainable is a collective effort. Achieving this goal requires the involvement of everyone: employees, customers, and suppliers. Only together can we positively shape the world of tomorrow, step by step. For this reason, Centa-Star has implemented an environmental management system to continuously improve our company's sustainability and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. THE NEXT STEP: More Green
After Made in Germany, the next step is MADE IN GREEN! Our entire high-tech fiber range is now certified with the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® label. This sustainability certification goes deep: A product can only carry the MADE IN GREEN label if it meets OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 for skin-friendliness and is tested for harmful substances. Additionally, all companies involved in its production must be STeP by OEKO-TEX® certified. You can find all the details on our blog.
We are tree sponsors
Since Winter 2020, Centa-Star has been a supporter of the fit4future forest. As part of a joint initiative by the fit4future nature initiative of the Cleven Foundation, the Ministry for Rural Areas and Consumer Protection, and Hitradio Antenne 1, we have gifted 170 tree sponsorships to our employees.
The trees are planted and cared for by the Ministry for Rural Areas, Consumer Protection and the State Forest Administration in the districts of Reutlingen, Rems-Murr-Kreis, Waldshut, Freudenstadt, and Hohenlohe in Baden-Württemberg.
Although our annual Christmas party had to be canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19, we still wanted to give our colleagues a small Christmas surprise. Along with various regional delicacies, each lovingly packed Nikolaus bag contained a tree sponsorship.
