1. Introduction

Centa-Star Bettwaren GmbH & Co. KG is committed to making its website and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the legal requirements.
The requirements for accessibility are set out in the Barrier-Free Strengthening Act (BFSG), in particular Section 14 BFSG in conjunction with Section 3 (1) BFSG and the underlying Ordinance to the Barrier-Free Strengthening Act (BFSGV). § Section 3 (1) BFSG, as well as the underlying Ordinance to the Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSGV).
The specific technical measures are based on the guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 with conformity levels A and AA.

PDF and Office documents are not accessible (missing tags, poor structure, non-accessible tables).

c) Disproportionate burden

According to Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, an exception may be made for certain content due to disproportionate burden. Despite our efforts, it is currently not possible for us to provide the following content completely barrier-free:

The website presents the range structured in categories such as “Summer comforter”, “Regeneration”, “Junior” and provides relevant background information, technology explanations (e.g. Celliant) as well as blog posts and tips for better sleep

Descriptions and explanations of the implementation of the service

The online purchase and service process runs digitally as follows:

Product information: Users select products via categories (e.g. summer, regeneration, junior) and receive detailed descriptions of function, materials and care.
Product search and retailer contact: Products can be found via the website, purchased in-store via the retailer locator or ordered online.
Checkout: An integrated online store offers common payment options such as PayPal, invoice, credit card and shipping within Germany.
Service & support: E-mail, telephone support and a newsletter are available for advice, maintenance information or product replacement.
Knowledge transfer: The Centa-Star Academy offers training courses, online courses and product training.
