Whether you sleep on your stomach or back, everyone has their unique way of sleeping.
For all these different sleep types, we offer perfectly coordinated duvets and pillows.
The Stomach Sleeper
This is a very intuitive sleeping position. However, stomach sleepers should ensure that their head doesn’t twist excessively to the right, left, or backward during the night. Stomach sleepers are often troubled by back and neck pain. A thin pillow under the shoulders helps keep the head in a natural position. Stomach sleepers prefer very flat pillows.
The Side Sleeper
The side-sleeping position is the most common and one of the healthiest, as it reduces pressure on the lungs and relieves neck muscles since the head does not tilt sideways. Additionally, this sleeping position reduces snoring and helps with heartburn. It is important to avoid pulling the head too close to the chest to prevent neck pain. A relatively high or adjustable neck support pillow helps the side sleeper fill the space between the head and the mattress, ensuring a relaxed position.
The Sweaty Sleeper
For those who get too warm under the duvet, we recommend a light, breathable fiber duvet. The reason is that fillings made of high-tech fibers are either highly breathable, temperature-regulating, or spread sweat quickly over a large surface area for faster evaporation. A neck support pillow also helps keep the head cool while sleeping.
The Back Sleeper
Back sleepers best support the natural S-curve of the spine with a neck support pillow. Pillows that can be adjusted in height are ideal for both back and side sleepers. The necessary pillow height is also influenced by the mattress: the deeper you sink into the mattress, the lower the pillow should be. Back sleepers who experience back pain while sleeping should place a pillow under their knees.
The Active Sleeper
The active sleeper tosses and turns from side to side and often wakes up at night because they are uncovered and thus get cold. Therefore, for an active sleeper, we recommend a larger comfort size duvet in the 155×220 cm format— the extra 20 centimeters on the sides and bottom ensure better coverage. The ideal neck support pillow for active sleepers is one made of PU foam, which returns to its original shape faster than a memory foam pillow. This helps keep the head in a natural position even with frequent changes between side and back sleeping.
The Cold Sleeper
For those who get cold quickly, we recommend warm, fluffy duvets. With their high cuddly factor, both collections are renowned for their warming properties. A warm pillow, such as one with memory foam or one of the Deluxe feather and down pillows, also helps keep the body warm.
