Compared to conventional polyester, the bio-degradable PrimaLoft® Bio™ fibre decomposes distinctly faster. Microplastics in oceans and rivers when washed are reduced, which means that less microplastics are ingested through food. Royal with PrimaLoft® Bio™ – a bio-degradable* fibre that not only revolutionises sleep, but also protects the environment. Accelerated standard test methods proved that the recyclable PrimaLoft® Bio™ fibre is almost completely broken down into naturally occurring substances in less than two years. For comparison: conventional polyester can take more than 1,000 years to decompose. In this way, we are setting new standards in terms of sustain-ability.

All Royal duvets and pillows are certified with the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® product label. This seal of quality issued by the Hohenstein Institute is a special award for Centa-Star. The traceable product label offers absolute transparency as every pillow and every duvet has a specific product ID and a QR code. This offers you information about the origin and manufacturing conditions and shows you the complete supply chain of materials free from harmful substances and socially responsible manufacturing processes.
